It is essential that you read and understand these terms and conditions before confirming your reservation with us.

You must complete the “Release and Waiver of Liability” form prior to your tour with us.


All bookings are made with CYAL8TA BUSINESS SERVICES PTY LIMITED (ABN 91 62 299 754). By booking a tour with us, you agree to have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.


Dates, itineraries and prices are valid from 1 January 2019 until 30 June 2019. All prices are in Australian Dollars and include GST. All prices and conditions are subject to change without notice.


All the tours we offer are active participation based. We rely on your goodwill and cooperation to make each tour a success. Due to space restrictions on our vehicles, please limit your luggage to 1 x soft bag of under 10kg per person. You should store any additional luggage at your accommodation, where possible.


You must have adequate travel insurance. When obtaining travel insurance, you must inform the insurer of the type of travel to be undertaken. It is also highly recommended that you take out trip cancellation insurance to cover any possible losses incurred by the mishaps of chance. We accept no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged property.


We require a non-refundable 25% deposit at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days before departure, or as mutually agreed at the time of booking. All bookings made less than 14 days before departure must be paid for in full at the time of booking.

Due to the extensive planning and costs associated with the tours, the following cancellation fees will apply, should you cancel the tour for any reason:

  • 14+ days before departure – 25% of total price

  • 7–13 days before departure – 50% of total price

  • Within 7 days – 100% of total price


At times, we may have to cancel a tour. In the event we do have to cancel, every effort will be made to offer a suitable alternative. If the alternative is not suitable, we will refund your tour price in full. We reserve the right to either cancel a tour if group numbers are insufficient or combine groups if low numbers may result to a scheduled departure being cancelled. In circumstances where the cancellation is due to external factors beyond our control, we will deduct any unrecoverable cost which we may have incurred from the refund amount.


Due to the complexity, staff time and communication costs of the booking process, the following amendment charges will apply:

  • 8+ days before departure - $50 (including GST) plus any difference in price between the original booking and the new date/ tour which is selected.

  • Changes made within 7 days of the scheduled departure – will incur full cancellation fees and passengers will be required to pay the full cost of any new tour booked.


You are required to contact us and reconfirm your tour no later than 24 hours before departure. To confirm your pick up point and time, please call or WhatsApp (+61 475 781 417). We will not be held responsible for any costs incurred due to changes of pick up details if you fail to re-confirm. We will not be held responsible for any delays resulting in you missing tour inclusions or missing a scheduled flight.


You are held responsible for preparing for the tour by studying the itinerary, and any pre-departure information supplied, and for bringing the appropriate clothing, equipment and personal documentation as advised therein. A hat, sunscreen, medication (if required), walking shoes/boots, warm clothing (winter), swimwear, towel, Travel Voucher/Ticket and a great sense of adventure. You are welcome to bring your beverages if you wish.


We understand the importance of protecting your privacy. We may use any information we collect from you for any purpose associated with delivering our tours. We may from time to time have to pass your details onto our agents, service providers or other suppliers to enable us to deliver our service.


You are held responsible for being in good health to undertake the tour. Due to the vast distances travelled, we may be many hours from medical facilities. It is your responsibility to declare any known medical condition(s) at the time of booking. We reserve the right to request additional information and medical clearance (at your own expense) before confirming your reservation.

We require you to re-confirm any medical condition(s) to our Tour Director, and you should carry sufficient medication for the duration of your tour (cold storage is available).

To ensure that you enjoy your time on tour with us, you are required to have a certain level of fitness. You should be able to walk at least 1km, unaided, over rough, uneven ground and climb (or descend) steps or steep inclines without hindrance. There are optional water-based activities available during the tour, and if you choose to partake in any of these activities, you must feel comfortable in the water.

If you are unable to meet the required level, you must disclose this at the time of booking. In the interests of health and safety, we reserve the right to refuse your participation in our activities due to any medical conditions and fitness level which we deem necessary. We will not be liable for any additional expenses or cancellation fees imposed by ourselves or third parties incurred as a result of a refusal to participate in activities due to non-disclosure.


All of our menus are designed to be well balanced and healthy for you to enjoy and participate in our tour. If you have any food allergies or specific dietary needs, please contact us to discuss these requirements. We will advise if we can cater for you. In circumstances where we operate in remote parts of Australia, certain foods are not always readily available. We may have to supplement our menus as supply dictates. In these instances, we will advise you to provide your supplementary food/ snacks depending on your specific requirements.


Travelling with us requires a degree of flexibility, good humour and an understanding that modes of transport, accommodation and itineraries may change. This can happen even after the tour has commenced without prior notice due to circumstances beyond our control or other unpredictable circumstances such as cancellation or postponement affected by circumstances outside its control including cyclones, storms, fires, earthquakes, explosions, embargos, government directives, or any law or regulation, litigation or labour dispute, act of God (such as flood) or terrorism. Accordingly, we reserve the right to amend, vary, reroute or cancel our tours, and we cannot guarantee exact arrival or departure times for certain aspects of the tour. There will be no refunds in these circumstances nor for delays incurred due to mechanical failure, accident, weather or any other unforeseen circumstances.

We accept no responsibility in the event of cancellation fees from other third-party services. We cannot guarantee Individual Aboriginal location visits for cultural reasons. In the event of a location or third-party services not being available, alternative experiences of a similar nature will first be sought and failing this, refunds will be offered for this component only. No compensation will be considered for any additional driving or time lost due to such changes.


Australia has many dangerous creatures, extreme weather conditions and often varying terrain. Safety is our number one priority, and all of our Tour Directors are highly trained to ensure your safety at all times. You are participating on our tours at your own risk, and we accept no responsibility for any loss, injury or accident. You are responsible for any additional costs involved should such instances occur. You will be required to sign a liability waiver before departure. If you would like a copy of this in advance, please contact us. An adult must accompany all participants under the age of 18 at all times. The responsibility of children on tour rests entirely with the parent or caregiver. You, including your children, must wear shoes at all times, use sunblock and wear hats. Please note that we accept children of all ages participating in our tours.


We contract with a network of third-party operators to assist in operating our tours. We work with the best operators available, and have full confidence in their professionalism but takes no responsibility for any act of neglect by an operator. We act solely as an agent between you and the tour operator and thus cannot accept any responsibility for their services. Any disputes that may arise will be managed through the jurisdiction of each operator’s respective place of business. We cannot be held responsible for personal injury or sickness to you which is beyond our control. You should note that adventure activities involve a higher than normal risk. A signed liability release will be required, from our third-party operators and us.


We pride ourselves on the very high standard of our Tour Directors. All our Tour Directors have sound knowledge of the local area, the history, Aboriginal culture, geology and the natural environment. To make this trip as fun and stress-free, you must abide by the Tour Director’s instructions and directions at all times, in particular about actions and behaviour in National Park areas, Aboriginal communities, areas with elevated hazards or risks and emergencies. We reserve the right to cancel your participation in the tour if you take part in any illegal activities, or partake in deliberately negligent, violent, or dangerous activities during the tour, with no right to refund. You must also comply with all laws and legal (including visa) requirements of Australia while participating in the tour.


You consent to us to use images of you (photo and video) taken during the trip for advertising and other promotional purposes in any medium as we require. You agree that the use of these images is without recourse to you and compensation to you.

The laws of Western Australia, Australia govern these terms and conditions. Any disputes in connection with a tour or these terms and conditions must be initiated in the courts of Western Australia, Australia.
